National Yang Ming Chao Tong University Leadership Education Club

The "Leadership Education Club" aims to create a harmonious world where "all nations are united and the world is one." It is committed to nurturing young people with "political expertise, religious compassion," as well as qualities of "diligence, endurance, bravery, and strength," along with traits of "greatness, perfection, charity, and peace." The club encourages active participation in social, national, and global affairs that concern the well-being of all humanity, striving to create a new bright century of peaceful coexistence and shared prosperity for all humans and the entire ecosystem. A visionary leader is cultivated from a young age. If each of us holds a sincere desire to serve, we have the seeds of leadership within us. By developing ourselves to embody leadership qualities, with a foundation in Taiwan and a global perspective, we can contribute to humanity and make a difference! We may be ordinary, but we should never be mediocre! The Leadership Education Study Club is made up of a group of young people with ideals and aspirations. With passion and innocence, we hope to achieve social harmony, national prosperity, and world peace. We look forward to future youth leaders of Taiwan joining us to create a better future together! Let's all work hard for the future of Taiwan and the world! Additionally, we hope the contributions of our club members will inspire a culture of meditation on campus, benefiting more teachers and students. Meditation can improve physical and mental health and increase wisdom and knowledge. The benefits of meditation are limitless; it helps one understand the truths of the natural world and gain wisdom. Meditation can create a life force that continues in the universe, enriching life. It can transform the world into a peaceful place, purify society, and unite humanity, allowing all life to flourish. Some may ask, what is the difference between sitting quietly and meditation? The difference lies in the level of consciousness. Quiet sitting is a practice of the five senses, while meditation transcends the limitations of the senses, elevating their essence and breaking through mental and knowledge barriers, ultimately reaching the realm of spiritual wisdom and liberation. Thus, meditation does not rely on the senses but directly enters the depths of the mind. We sincerely hope that every partner who comes to the Leadership Education Club to learn will become a practitioner of meditation, embodying the cultivation and aspirations of Zen. Zen transcends all time and space, all life forces. Therefore, one must have a transcendent spirit, be diligent and resilient in daily life, endure hardships without complaint, and, more importantly, have a broad and open heart, with love for all life. One must also have the ability to change all things. By cultivating simplicity, resolving all contradictions, and seeing all beings as equal and unobstructed, we aim to create a world of truth, goodness, and beauty, where everyone is equal. It is an honor to be a leader and a practitioner of Zen.
