梅竹賽場上最受矚目的可愛吉祥物竹狐名稱取自交大「竹湖」諧音，因清華大學的 「清華」兩字諧音像「青蛙」，有人說狐狸可以吃青蛙，於是就以敏捷機靈的狐狸作為交大吉祥物。
「竹狐1號」誕生於2009年己丑梅竹，之後不同的竹狐成員慢慢加入，如今竹狐家族已有四個重要成員，每隻竹狐都有鮮明的外型與個性；
現在只要為兩隻吉祥物投票命名，投票參與者就有機會參加抽獎，獲得梅竹賽獎品喔！

Yang Ming Chiao Tung University Mei-Chu Mascot 🦊 Naming Event

The Mei-Chu Games’ most eye-catching and adorable mascot, Bamboo Fox, derives its name from the homophone of Chiao Tung University’s “Zhu Hu” (Bamboo Lake). Since the name of "Tsing Hua" University sounds like "frog" in Chinese, some say that foxes can eat frogs. Thus, the agile and clever fox was chosen as the mascot for Chiao Tung University.

"Bamboo Fox No.1" was born during the 2009 Mei-Chu Games, and over time, more members joined the Bamboo Fox family. Today, the family consists of four key members, each with distinct appearances and personalities. Now, you have the chance to vote and name two of the mascots! By participating, you will also enter a lucky draw for exclusive Mei-Chu prizes!
