April 16th Student Self-funded Health Checkup
Encourage students to have regular checkups to monitor their health!
Target Audience: All students
Time: April 16, 2025, from 8:30 AM to 12:00 PM (Check-in must be completed by 11:30 AM)
 Location: 1st Floor Lobby, Yangming Campus Activity Center
Cost: NTD 700 for self-funded health checkup, payable on-site to the hospital.

Health checkup reports will be sent by the hospital to the Health and Safety Office one month after the checkup. Students will be notified via email when the report is ready for pick-up at the Health center.
Health Checkup Items:
1.General Physical Exam: Oral examination, height, weight, waist circumference, blood pressure, vision (with or without correction), color blindness, hearing, and doctor's consultation.
2.Urinalysis: Urine protein, glucose, occult blood, and pH value.
3.Blood Routine Examination: Hemoglobin, white blood cells, red blood cells, platelets, hematocrit (Hct), mean corpuscular volume (MCV).
4.Biochemical Tests: Liver function (SGPT, SGOT), cholesterol, urea nitrogen, creatinine, uric acid, triglycerides, high-density lipoprotein (HDL), low-density lipoprotein (LDL), and fasting blood glucose.
5.Hepatitis: Hepatitis B surface antigen, Hepatitis B surface antibody, Hepatitis C antibody.
6.Chest X-ray examination.
Health Checkup Instructions:
1.Please bring your ID card (for local students), or passport or residence permit (for international students), to help confirm your information and reduce checkup time.
2.The day before the checkup, please have a light meal and avoid alcohol, stimulants, overly sweet, or greasy foods.
3.Fasting time should be 7-8 hours before your checkup time. For example, if your checkup is at 8:00 AM, you should fast from 12:00 AM the night before. If you feel thirsty during the fasting period, you may drink a small amount of plain water (a small cup).
4.Pregnant women or those who suspect they are pregnant should not undergo an X-ray.
5.When undergoing the X-ray, please remove any metal items from your body. Women may wear a non-underwired sports bra for convenience.
6.On the day of the checkup, please follow the instructions of the medical staff to complete each process and return the checkup card at the site.
