In accordance with the resolution of the Student Dorm Committee meeting of the second semester of the 113th academic year on April 28, 2025.

Statement:
In response to the approved proposal allowing master lights-out at the sole discretion of individual rooms in the undergraduate student dormitories of our university (except for undergraduate freshman dormitories), we have revised Article Five, Paragraph III, Subparagraph 2 of the Student Accommodation Policy of Chiao Tung campus: the master lights-out dormitories have been revised from each dormitory to undergraduate freshman dormitories.

Effective As of:
Starting from the first semester of the 114th academic year, the rule of turning off lights at midnight will be abolished in all undergraduate dormitories.  However, undergraduate freshman dormitories will remain under the original policy of their master lights-out.
